What is a 'Sinjin Drowning' anyway?

Sinjin Drowning is love, life and the name of a brother-sister YouTube duo consisting of members Kalynn and Weston Koury. They joined Youtube in 2017 a slice of life podcast and would ocasionally post vlogs as well. In 2019 they upploaded their very first gaming video titled We Found Love on Moviestarplanet which garnered a huge amount of viewers which caused the end of the podcast and cememted the future of the channel.

Unlike other creators in the same space, the draw of their videos is less about the videogames themselves and more about the people playing them. Weston and Kalynn manages to combine a fastpaced kind-of-edgy-but-very-witty approach with a very easy-going worldview. You get immersed and feel with them but when the video is over the dramatics doesn't linger because it's not real. I think that their approach is so important to have in the online gaming community where people tend to take themselves very seriously in a way that intimidates more casual gamers.

As of Today, they are an incredibly prolific majority-gaming channel with 940,000 subscribers and they might be the best youtubers ever.
