Hello friends! Sorry for not updating - I haven't really been feeling it to be honest.
Lately my life has been very overwhelming and hard but I feel like
i'm finally finding my way back again. Depression is one heck of a stubborn bitch,
but so am i! :) I feel very inspired and ready to go back to art.
I hope you guys have been doing okay too!

A continuation of the topics from the last post. I will post the artbook pictures in my upcoming Metal Gear Solid shrine --- Metal Gear Solid has been my biggest interest for two years now, and of course that was the first thing I wanted to base a shrine around --- but there is like, ALOT, I want to include and I could never really figure out a layout that spoke to me. But it finally came to me. And believe me when i say that it's going to turn out SO COOL! you guys have NO IDEA! But because of that it's gonna be alot to take on, probably my biggest site project yet! so please be patient with me if it takes some time to make.

ALSO -- ANOTHER new Ethel Cain single!!! YIPPIE -- this time it's a song called "fuck me eyes" in which is introduces a new character, Holly Reddick, into the lore. HOW FUN! It's so exciting to be able to feel this story evolve in real time. I AM PICKING UP THAT BOOK!!! DAY ONE!!!

I just got to say, Hayden really knows how to paint a picture with her words, this song (especially the lyrics) really of took me back to my past in such a real and honestly painful way -- to when I was like 16 years old. Not alot of things can make me go back there besides her. Oh so miserable I was. That, coupled with the Golden Age--esque instrumental expresses youth very well I think.
I hope I'm making sense, I feel like im not.

Before I part ways with you guys again I just want to acknowledge that I now have TEN FREAKING FOLLOWERS!? TEN people have looked at this and been like "yeah this guy is cool -- FOLLOW" !? I'm really grateful for you guys and I always try to check out your blogs whenever I can - you are all so creative and sweet! Kind of silly to say but you make me feel very loved!

I think I need to stop writing before i get too sappy -- see ya later alligator!

I feel like I should bring this up, but ive never been very good at coming across empathetic through text, so i'm doing it here for the hardcore readers.

I want to make something clear -- I still really like hayden and her music, and I do believe that she has changed.

But racism is still, past or present, so so destructive. Even though I am white and not the target I still feel very bad and ashamed for having really fallen into celebrity worship of a person that have caused damage like that in the past.

i'm very sorry to everyone that got affected back then and to all the black and/or mexican fans that felt betrayed and silenced by others coming to her defence instead of listening to your struggles.
